Sooo I FINALLY found a nice big space to make my Recon/ODST armour! My awesome mates Brad, Tim and Tobye are letting me borrow their garage for a few months so I can get it done and dusted, and in return I have to cook and clean for them XD I don't really mind though, I spent this morning making them cake and cookies ^_^
The pancakes I made them were an absolute disaster, hehe... They probably tasted like resin XD
So while I wasn't cleaning their kitchen and burning pancakes, I was in their garage resining and fibreglassing various armour pieces. Got a fair bit done too

Resined: Recon chest, both ODST forearms, one ODST hip plate
Fibreglassed: Both Spartan handplates

I've also started experimenting with craft foam, an object which is entirely new to me. I was playing around with some 2mm thick foam last night, and made some awesome headgear wings for my Erza Scarlet cosplay (Manifest 2010) They just need painting, and they're ready to go

That's about it for now.. Still have to figure out what anime character(s) I'm going to put on my cake... Maybe I'll post a pic once it's done
